Do you write code for free and open source projects? Would you like to learn the basics of the Rust programming language? I’m offering to teach the basics of Rust to free and open source software programmers, for free.

No Time because I will start my new job in October but I really appreciate your offer to the FOSS community!

@stefan Follow me here or follow my blog to hear if there will be new courses.

i would love to contribute getting SSO in the Vaultwarden project. But i lack more SSO knowledge than Rust haha

@liw I wish more people in the FOSS community did this for other languages too. It would help bring in a lot of new talent!

@liw Looks great. If and when you have a weekday version I’ll be all over it, US/Eastern permitting.

@liw sounds promissing but I dont have any experiences with courses and always teached myself on my own :)

@liw Awesome! I'm afraid I can't attend any of those dates.
Did you consider doing the course during week days? I like to try to (and fail) keep my weekends free of work

@liw sounds cool, I'm probably not really the target audience though

the only foss things I've actually finished are unimpressive micro libraries that nobody uses, and my current project is one of those things that only really exists for one instance (it's more a thing that happens to be foss and less a general use foss project)

@jande Sounds good enough for me. If you want me to put on you the waiting list, drop me an email.
