Apropos nothing: The Finnish word "nato" means "husband's sister".
"Kyty" is "husband's brother", and "käly" is "spouse's sister, sibling's wife, or spouse's sibling's wife".
@liw Do you pronounce the "y" as a [y] ?
(for ref https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphabet_phon%C3%A9tique_international#/media/Fichier:IPA_chart_2020.svg )
@ffeth I'm not sure how to interpret IPA pronounciation descriptions, but it's approximately like the y in the English word syllable.
@liw I'm happy that I asked the question! I'd have pronounced like a german "ü"!
@ffeth That would also be approximately correct, I think.
@liw Also I could have been looking by myself :)
